In the body of the avian vital system.
The cresh of a mans mind resides neatly, protruding from the bustuous crest of the robin redbreast.
A veterinarian character lays his finger gently on the belly of the sparrow, acutely squeezing as he did so.
Small jets of red plasma collapsed clumsily onto his nimble fingers, he shook himself awake and smiled.
The birds calling.
He pulled himself from the puddle in his bed and attached his shirt and trousers accordingly as he surgically bludgeons the remainder of the surreptitious callers.
